Q. How often do I need to service my fire extinguishers? 

A. Once a year you are required to get a qualified personnel, from a authorised workshop to perform yearly maintenance on your fire extinguishers. This is a compulsory requirement referenced from the Fire Code provided SCDF, in accordance to SS 578. 

This does not apply to extinguishers located within the premises of residential users. However it is always recommended to follow the industry best practices to ensure that your equipment will work as intended.
