Q. What extinguisher would you recommend for a HDB flat? 

A. Our recommendation is to get an 4KG Multipurpose dry chemical powder fire extinguisher. Most residential users also purchase a 2 Litre Multipurpose Foam or a 2KG Multipurpose dry chemical powder fire extinguisher due to it's compact size.

Q. Can Fire Armour service fire extinguishers and other fire fighting equipment from different manufacturers?

A. Yes. Our workshop is certified yearly by TUV, and we carry a wide variety of replacement parts all the manufacturers located around the world. 

Q. How often do I need to service my fire extinguishers? 

A. Once a year you are required to get a qualified personnel, from a authorised workshop to perform yearly maintenance on your fire extinguishers. This is a compulsory requirement referenced from the Fire Code provided SCDF, in accordance to SS 578. 

This does not apply to extinguishers located within the premises of residential users. However it is always recommended to follow the industry best practices to ensure that your equipment will work as intended.

Q. What kind of warranty does Fire Armour offer? 

A. We offer a 3 year's warranty against manufacturer's defects, effective from the date of purchase. This means that within 3 years, if there are any kind of defect that comes from us, bring it to our premises and we will fix it for you at no cost to you. 

Example 1: For no reason the pressure drops below the green zone. Bring it to us and we'll make good for you. 

Example 2: If you think that the words on the extinguisher has faded or is illegible after 2 years. Bring it to us and we'll make good for you, if we can't do it, we'll provide a 1 to 1 exchange. 

Example 3: If you use or accidentally depress the fire extinguisher. Bring it to us and we'll charge you for recharging only. 

To be clear, these are examples, out of over 20,000 fire extinguishers sold by Fire Armour on a yearly basis, most of the users who come back to us for warranty coverage are usually users who have accidentally activated the fire extinguisher. 

Q. Does the price offered include delivery or installation? 

A. Unless otherwise stated, prices offered do not include delivery or installation. 

Q. Does Fire Armour charge GST? 

A. Fire Armour is a GST registered company. For all products delivered and services rendered in Singapore, GST is collected and submitted to IRAS.
